It comes out this year against a £150 Superslim PS3, and a price-cutted 360... I wouldn't want to be launching such a pitiful console against that. Its not like the Wii U is even that much more powerful...
I think Nintendo should be more worried than M$.
The Wii U will launch this year against already cheaper current gen consoles with a far superior catalogue of games at cut prices.
With the rumoured £99 PS3 superslim, M$ will surely price cut the 360 S and the Wii U will suddenly seem like a total rip-off to the casual gamers out there that already own a Wii/

Sony painted themselves into a corner with the PS3. It cost them so much to make the machines that they need this long cycle just to make a bit of a profit.
M$ are loving Sony's mistake. Sony thought people would be willing to pay £600 for a PS3. They didn't. Now M$ has been milking this gen for everythin...
